Campus-Wide Policy Committee

In accordance with the NSF contract, Project PACE created a Campus-Wide Policy Committee (CWPC), chaired by the Provost and consisting of chairs from the science departments, a representative from the union, the affirmative action officer, legal counsel for UM, and the PACE PIs. The Committee was responsible for the investigation of all aspects of policy concerning issues important for reaching gender equity in science at UM. Much of this work has been assumed by the Task Force on Policy Development and Revision and the Quality of Work Life Council. The CWPC continues to meet to review departmental diversity plans.
